The vibration from these frequencies may help move trapped water or loose dust out of the speaker grill. Open the app, set your volume to maximum, point the speaker down, tap the button, and let the sound run.

No. Water Eject does not claim to prevent water damage, it does not repair any kind of hardware damage, and it cannot undo harm that already happened to your device. If your phone has touched any liquid, please also follow Apple's official drying steps to take proper care of it.

The same kind of vibration that may move trapped water can also help loosen small dust and lint stuck in the speaker opening, which can sometimes affect how loud or clear your audio sounds.

We do collect a limited amount of anonymous data through AppsFlyer (install attribution and product analytics) and Google Ads (advertising measurement) — including device model, OS version, app events, and, only with your permission via Apple's ATT prompt, the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA). The core frequency-playback feature works offline — you can use it at the gym, by the pool, in the kitchen, or anywhere without signal. An internet connection is used in the background to deliver anonymous attribution and analytics events to our service providers, but this does not affect playback.
