These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Solitaire mobile application ("the App") provided by The App, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Solitaire Is

Solitaire is a classic Klondike card game for iPhone and iPad. The App lets you play the timeless single-player card game with an elegant design, unlimited undo, smart hints, and smooth transitions. It is intended for entertainment and relaxation, and as a light way to challenge your concentration and problem-solving.

Entertainment Only

Solitaire is a casual card game provided purely for entertainment. It does not involve real-money gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind, and no real-world prizes are offered. Any references to relaxing, training, or challenging your mind are general statements about a card game and are not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and the App does not claim to diagnose, treat, or improve any condition.

Results and enjoyment vary from person to person. The App is provided as a simple game, not as a guaranteed outcome, medical device, or professional instrument.

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent these restrictions are not allowed by applicable law.

Free App & Advertising

Solitaire is free to download and play. Every feature of the game is free, with no time limits and no account required. The App has no subscription and does not offer any in-app purchases.

The App is supported by advertising. We display ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC) to keep the game free. By using the App you acknowledge that ads will be shown and that the advertising provider may process limited data to deliver and measure those ads, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for any websites or products they link to.

No Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific result.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The App, Inc. and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, damage to your device, or any other damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App, which for a free app is zero dollars.

Apple App Store Terms

If you download the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, these Terms control, except where Apple's EULA is more restrictive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
